Musical Discovery Kids. Basic musical experiences, rhythm, notation, theory and pre-piano skills taught in a group setting. Prepare your child for piano lessons in a fun and age-appropriate way. Space is limited! Thursdays 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Children in Kindergarten and 1st grade.
Youth Piano Lessons. Must be at least in 2nd grade and able to read English. Keyboards available for a small rental fee. Families may keep the keyboard after consistent lesson attendance and participation in two piano recitals. Every Tuesday or Thursday for 30 minutes. Times will be assigned. Children 2nd grade and older.
Children's Ukulele Choir. Build confidence and self-esteem while learning to play the ukulele and singing fun songs to perform at MyHometown and city events. Tuesdays 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Children ages 7 and older.
English. Learn to speak beginning, intermediate, or advanced English. Aprende a hablar inglés básico, intermedio, o avanzado. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Básico: 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Intermedio: 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Basic Spanish. Learn to speak basic Spanish. Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Fun with Art. Join us to experience different types of amazing art mediums. Supplies are provided. Tuesdays 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Adults and youth ages 12 and older.
Basic Computer Skills (in Spanish). Create documents, spreadsheets, etc. Students who attend regularly may qualify to receive a free refurbished computer. Restrictions apply. Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Sewing Basics. Learn sewing basics and make useful items. Sewing machines and some supplies and fabric are provided. After two terms, participants may receive a used sewing machine. Thursdays 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. or 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. Adults only. THIS CLASS IS FULL FOR 2025 WINTER SEMESTER.
Homework Help. Need help with your homework? If so, come to the Community Resource Center (CRC) and we'll help you with it! Thursdays beginning January 9 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
