Upcoming 2025 Days of Service
This year our MyHometown group will participate in six days of service. They will happen on April 12, May 10, June 14, August 9, September 6 (which is the Provo City Day of Service), and October 11. We invite everyone to join us for these rewarding events. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
Recent Day of Service with Dumpsters — Feedback?
Our most recent Day of Service was June 22nd. MyHometown, in conjunction with Provo City, provided 10 dumpsters in various locations for use by anyone in the Provo South Freedom area. The dumpsters were available from the afternoon of Thursday, June 20th, until Monday, June 24th. If you used any of the dumpsters and have feedback on size, location, access, etc., please send us a note at mhprovosf.org.
2023 Day of Service
Our 2023 Day of Service included a project at the Provo Recreation Center and North Park. Thirty-five volunteers helped make the park safer for children by putting wood chips around the playground equipment. They also weeded the flower beds surrounding the rec center and parking lot. The service given really made a difference.
